Fall Stamp Camp Christmas Canvas

This was a fun project featuring the ornament on the front of the Holiday Mini Catalog.  It uses our NEW Core'dinations Card Stock in Early Espresso, embossed with the NEW Wood Grain Textured Impression Folder.  And our NEW Champagne Glimmer Paper! It also uses our beautiful Stampin' Up! Material!  This pattern of material is available on the Clearance Rack for only .99 while supplies last!  As well as the die for the Big Shot with the saying, "Peace & Joy & Love & Cheer" also found on the clearance rack right now.  The 12 x 12 painters canvas was created to use space to include a family picture, or to omit the picture and center the ornament in the middle of the canvas hanging with more hemp.  The choice is yours!  Here is the finished project by Tami Melancon.

 

The red and white material is just hot glued to the back of the canvas.  Material will differ in each kit.

 

To build the ornament you will need 15 large green ornaments and 15 smaller red ornaments.

Score and fold each ornament in half (top to bottom).

Adhere 3 ornaments together, making sure to leave a flat bottom (do not adhere the last sides).

This will give you 5 - 3 dimensional ornaments to work with in each color.

Using a glue gun...I recommend low temp  :)  Start building the ornament!

In your kit you received 3 circles.  Lay each out.  The largest is for the green ornaments, middle size for the red ornaments, and the smallest is for the rosette.

Start gluing the ornaments to the circles as shown in the pictures below.

 

In between each green ornament grab your tulle in the center and glue onto circle as well.

The small rectangular piece of card stock is used to build the center up.

 

Now do the same for the red ornaments.

 

 

Glue ends of rosette together and adhere to smallest circle. 

Add hemp to button and glue to center of rosette.

 

Now start building the ornament by laying each piece on top of the other using your glue gun.

 

Here is the finished rosette!

...minus the hemp in this one  :)
